NM Music Award winning artist, songwriter and producer Lisa Carman returns to Santa Fe to perform music from her newest release, Niche.

Carman recently relocated to Montana to be closer to family where she continues to teach and produce music. While in New Mexico, she will also teach several workshops.

Carman has coined the phrase “Jazzacana” to describe her latest album. “I quietly wrote and arranged with the assistance of Kevin Zoernig,” Carman says.

The album is available for download, purchase, and listening. The album track “Ruin Of Love” won Recording Engineer of the Year for Scott Shane from Place Recording, and Mastering Engineer for Michael MacDonald of AlgoRhythms Mastering, of Santa Fe and also took home Best of the Year honors at the 2018 New Mexico Music Awards.

“The ‘Jazzacana’ genre is a fusion of my Americana roots and the jazz I grew up listening to. Exhilarating to create and satisfying from beginning to end. I gave myself permission to explore a new sound with amazing musical support from Jeff Sussmann on drums, Justin Bransford on bass, Scott Shane on guitars, and Kevin Zoerning on keyboards.

The program will feature Santa Fe musicians Adrienne Bellis, Justin Bransford and Jeff Susssman.
