What can listen!NM do for you? Well take a look at what we’ve been doing.
Our goal is to promote the local music industry, the same support musicians find in places like Austin, Seattle and other music-centric communities. This means finding opportunities for musicians to play locally, in film and television and promoting New Mexico as a music destination. There are no fees for these services.
Each month, listen!NM features a New Mexico artist online and helps them to promote their music and performances.
New Mexico’s unique atmosphere benefits emerging and veteran musicians, audio engineers and producers. The cost of living here is modest, there is a robust film and TV presence and there are over four hundred live music venues in the Land ofEnchantment, numerous recording studios and the music is rich and diverse, ranging from country to new age.
Most of New Mexico’s municipalities contract with musicians year round.
